Well, most of our earthly belongings were originally scheduled to arrive, Friday, April 23. Then April 30 and now who knows when. We have relocation companies from New Zealand and the U.S. trying to track our container and to get it moving from Long Beach. Naomi and I were both scheduled to travel to the Northeast next week, May 10 but she is going to change her ticket depending on when the container arrives. I have business with ALARM and then am teaching at Temple University's Fox School of Business, Executive and Professional MBA program. I will be in the Boston area, through Connecticut, New Jersey and several locations in Pennsylvania.
I have been reminded through this circumstance of refugees in various parts of the world who leave their homes with only what they can carry or fit into a car. All their earthly possessions are typically looted, lost, destroyed. It reminds me of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6 about laying up treasures that don't rust, decay or get stolen but rather laying up a treasure in heaven.
