Although I still don't feel well, it is wonderful to be at home. Since we live on campus at Laidlaw, I am able to have great visits with my colleagues.
The continued convalesence, antiobiotics via picc line (intravenous line) is important as the risks of longterm negative effects of the infection are significant. It is difficult to step out of action but Naomi and friends are urging me to take time to fully heal. If full recovery does not occur then surgery may be the next step. I am praying that I can fully heal w/o that step or series of steps.
Thanks for all the notes and prayers . . . deeply appreciated.

Hi Meredith,
It was good to see you and Rebekah at Jared & Julia's wedding. We've been praying for you and will continue to keep you and the family in our prayers. We trust the Lord to provide healing and relief from the pain you've been experiencing in your back lately. As hard as it is to be "down", try to enjoy the time you have to relax and allow your body the time it needs to recuperate before you're up and around again. Do take care!
In His Love,
Judy & Rick
Oh Meredith, it is a joy to hear that you actually made it to your home! What a relief to be in familiar surroundings, and for Naomi to have you nearby. We have prayed diligently for both of you and are so pleased that God has seen fit to bring you from the hospital at this point. May you rest well, recover steadily, heal emotionally and be strengthened spiritually. Bob and Pat Moreau
